assistant front office manager Front Office
Description
This person will set and maintain a high standard of service within the department, being a mentor for the Front Office Shift Leaders and deputising in the absence of the Front Office Manager.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Ensures guest needs are being managed promptly and in line with nhow brand standards.
- To be actively involved in the training and development of all Front Office staff.
- To ensure that all reservation requests are followed up with to the hghest of standards.
- To liaise with other departments ensuring that all relevant information is communicated.
- To ensure that the Hotels Credit Control policy is carried out.
Knowledge and skills
- Degree at Bachelor Level, preferably in a Hospitality related field.
- At least 3 years of front office shift management experience in a vibrant hotel.
- Fluent in English.
- A charismatic and confident communicator in every sense.
- Analytical, focused, hands-on and results-driven – A Strong conceptual thinker.
- Highly organized and ability to multi-task in a driven manner.
- Outstanding Leadership skills.
- Team player
