Description
The right hand of the Executive Chef and the person who will ensure that all Junior team members are encouraged and motivated to deliver their very best.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- To maintain the highest level of cooking and presentation as set out by the Executive Chef.
- To Provide Coaching and on the Job Training on a Continual Basis.
- To Ensure that Food Wastage is Kept to a Minimum at all Times whilst service is running.
- To take charge of service standards and delivery in the absence of the Executive Chef.
- Ensures that a collegial and professional environment is maintained at all times.
Knowledge and skills
- Degree at Bachelor Level, preferably in a Hospitality related field.
- At least 3 years as a Senior Chef de Partie in a Restaurant environment.
- Fluent in English.
- A charismatic and confident communicator in every sense.
- A natural leader of people and an ambassador of the nhow brand
- Analytical, focused, hands-on and results-driven – A Strong conceptual thinker.
- Highly organized and ability to multi-task in a driven manner.
